So, basically I lost my job then managed to get a new one with a higher salary. Still don't have enough to replace my SLR so I'm back to messing around with my point and shoot. Which may or may not be a bad thing, I'm trying to make the most of it and concentrate on creative rather than technical shots for a while.

Unfortunately due to financial reasons I've got to sell all of my kit. Hopefully at some point in the future I will be able to get another camera but for now I won't be submitting any more deviations.

I'll stay stay here though to watch everyone elses of course.

Hopefully in 2009 I'll be able to get some more pics uploaded - I've had virtually no time in the last couple of months to do much.

So I finally did my first shoot yesterday. It was great fun and the model was fantastic. 1800 shots to go through, but I've put some up already as I couldn't wait!

I'm currently trying to arrange shoots with TFP models (money's a bit tight at the moment) so I can try my hand at working with models. It's quite tricky to do with no previous experience/portfolio though.

I do have a group shoot lined up in June though, so that will probably end up being my first shoot with a model and I can't wait!
